Steel Building Insulation in Bishop, California
Our company supplied steel building insulation in Bishop, California for this new construction project in June of 2014.
This project included the insulation rolls, facing and accessories. The new-construction metal school building owned by the Calvary Baptist Church involved insulating a total of 14,682 square feet of space. Installed in the roof of the building is a high R-value insulation system with accompanying heavy-duty facing. Installed between the building’s purlins is 6″ of fiberglass insulation with 4″ of un-faced insulation applied over the top of the purlins. Within the steel building’s walls is a 6″, single-layer insulation system, also adorned with heavy-duty facing.
While the insulation itself leads to a dramatic reduction in energy costs and a comfortable, quiet interior space, the facing material serves as a vapor retarder and cover that helps to protect the insulation blankets from rips, tears, moisture and general damage.
