Our company supplied 19,082 square feet of steel building insulation in Dickinson, North Dakota in March of 2012.
We supplied high R-value roof and wall insulation for the new-construction metal building, creating a comfortable, highly energy-efficient environment. The roof now features 12″ of double layer fiberglass insulation, while the walls feature 8″ in some areas and 6″ insulation in others. We also supplied R-19.4 insulation for the building’s overhead doors and (10) 4’x4′ insulated windows.
The roof insulation features facing material with long tabs, with the facing operating as a vapor barrier and protecting against moisture, humidity and condensation. The wall insulation has heavy-duty insulation facing, which is intended for high-traffic areas.
We also supplied a number of accessories for use during installation, among them roof and wall screws, thermal break tape, banding and InsulHold coils.
