Steel Building Insulation in Vancouver, Washington
Our company supplied commercial steel building insulation in Vancouver, Washington in June of 2014.
We supplied the insulation and related accessories for this new construction project. The custom insulation package was designed for Firestone Pacific Foods, a leading Vancouver-based provider of premium-grade fruit. Insulation and accompanying materials for the fruit purveyor’s office and separate production building were Included in the project. Installed in the office building are 1″, 3″ and 4″ thermal blocks and double-layer, high R-value insulation attached by a banding system to help minimize energy expenditures while keeping employees comfortable inside regardless of season. In the roof and walls of the production building is a single-layer, 3″ fiberglass insulation system designed to fulfill similar objectives.
Heavy-duty facing material is applied to the fiberglass insulation blankets in order to act as a vapor retarder and protective cover, and Steel Building Insulation also supplied insulation tape to use in the installation and application process.
