Steel Building Insulation in Vermont
When Vermont metal building owners see a drastic increase in their energy bills, often, the cause is damaged, inadequate, or a lack of insulation in their structures. Thermal energy loss can be one of the single largest drains on a metal building owner’s budget, which is why so many have turned to Steel Building Insulation, a division of Building Outlet Corp., for supplies and assistance with insulation retrofit projects large and small.
Applying HVAC and insulation upgrades to your existing metal building will cause an immediate, substantial reduction in your energy bills, and given the escalating nationwide heating and cooling costs, the payback period is far shorter than you may think. More than 50 percent of the vinyl-faced fiberglass insulation volume we distribute nationally is now used in insulation retrofit applications, and the cost of insulation purchased through Steel Building Insulation is far below industry norms because we are not tied to one particular insulation manufacturer. This results in both substantial and immediate savings for our Vermont consumers.
Retrofitting insulation between the roof purlins or wall girts of your metal building does more than reduce your energy bills – it also addresses damaging and costly condensation issues that arise when a metal building has no insulation, insufficient insulation, or fiberglass or facing that is old, torn or prone to air leaks. For insulation retrofit jobs, we recommend that the entire cavity of the building’s structural members (generally, 8″) be filled with insulation to avoid air spaces that can cause condensation to form inside the cold surface of the exterior panel.
We offer a wide array of insulation options, facing options, and accessories to aid you in insulation retrofit projects of any size or scope. Whether you’re looking to re-insulate your metal building’s roof or walls, Steel Building Insulation will simplify and streamline the process and ensure that you end up with the highest quality product at the lowest possible price – and drastically reduced thermal energy bills throughout the lifetime of your building.
Our insulation panels and insulation blankets are crafted from highly-resilient fiberglass are available with a variety of facing options, and offer high R-values that offer substantial resistance to heat transfer, resulting in lower utility costs from the time of installation. Facings are available in both white vinyl and polypropylene, and range from light-duty, low-cost WMP-VR to extremely heavy-duty, high-impact GYMGUARD materials. Our insulation rolls are available in 3’, 4’, 5 and 6’ standard-width roll sizes, and can be delivered to virtually any accessible building site. Our products are professionally color-coded, pre-cut rolls intended to simplify the installation process.
While Arizona does not currently have any statewide energy codes for commercial structures, our metal building insulation product line adheres to the standards set by the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), and is fire-resistant and non-combustible.
