Building Outlet supplied steel building insulation in Salt Lake City, Utah, in September of 2021.
We supplied the insulated panels and accessories used to insulate a new metal building. The 2.5”, 24-gauge Shadowline insulated panels have steel skins and insulating foam cores, helping improve the metal building’s energy efficiency and thermal performance. We delivered embossed exterior and interior metal panels in a variety of different sizes, supplying (43) 204” panels, (14) 156” panels, (4) 164” panels, (1) 128” panel and (1) 161” panel.
Also delivered to the jobsite for this project were 280’ of 5”x5” 24-gauge outside corner trim molding, 480’ of 24-gauge 3”x3” inside corner trim molding, (60) 10.1-oz. tubes of butyl caulk and (1,000) rivets to hold the insulated panels in place. With the insulated panels installed, the building owner is able to better control heat flow, leading to reduced heating and cooling costs for the lifetime of the building.
