Steel Building Insulation in Reno, Nevada

Building Outlet supplied steel building insulation in Reno, Nevada, in February of 2022.

We provided the insulation and accessories needed to insulate a 60’x64’ steel building. Supplied for installation into the roof of the metal building were 8” of R-25 fiberglass insulation, which keeps heating and cooling bills low by enhancing the building’s energy efficiency. The insulation has (2) taped tabs and heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing on the side that faces the interior of the steel building, with the facing helping protect the insulation blankets against damage and moisture while giving the building’s interior a clean, finished look.

The insulation arrived at the installation site in a variety of different packages. Insulation supplied included (29) 24”x64’ rolls, (1) 60”x16’ roll, (5) 60”x63’ rolls and (1) 30’x63” roll. Steel Building Insulation also supplied accessories for use during the installation process. Accessories supplied included (6) 500’ coils of steel banding, (750) self-taping White #12 Tek screws, (1) 150’ roll of patch tape and (5) 180’ rolls of double-faced tape.
