Steel Building Insulation in Yuma, Arizona
Our company supplied steel building insulation in Yuma, Arizona, in May of 2014.
This project included the insulation rolls, facing and accessories. This insulation retrofit job for an existing Air Force building involved insulating a total of 35,400 square feet of space. Now installed in the building’s roof is 6″ fiberglass insulation, which is held firmly in place using 6.5″ galvanized weld pins. Applied over the insulation blankets is heavy-duty facing material, which acts as a vapor retarder while protecting the insulation blankets from damage and harm. In addition to supplying the insulation and facing material for this job, Steel Building Insulation also provided patch tape used to hold the insulation materials in place during the installation.
With the new insulation system installed, the building’s energy costs are substantially reduced. Additionally, building users experience a range of other benefits, from a reduction in outside noise to comfortable, consistent interior temperatures year-round.
