Steel Building Insulation in Wray, Colorado
Steel Building Insulation supplied the insulation blankets and accessories used to insulate a new-construction steel building in Wray, Colorado, in October 2022, raising the building’s thermal efficiency while lowering its power bills.
SBI delivered 6” of R-19 insulation to install in both the roof and walls of the metal building, which is 40’x60’x14’ in size and has a gable roof with a modest 2:12 pitch. The insulation blankets installed in the building’s roof and walls have taped tabs, and they also have rugged, WMP-VRR+ facing on the interior-facing side.
The facing acts as a barrier against condensation and damage, and it also improves the look of the inside of the building, giving it a clean, finished appearance. In addition to the roof and wall insulation blankets, SBI also delivered (3) 180’ rolls of double-sided tape and (1) 150’ roll of patch tape to help seal seams and improve insulation performance.
