Metal Building Insulation in Taylorville, Illinois
Our company provided 10,865 square feet of metal building insulation for this retrofit project in Taylorville, Illinois, in 2011.
Installed in the roof of the metal building is 6″ insulation with heavy-duty facing material applied to its interior side. The facing helps stop moisture from seeping through and damaging the insulation blankets, and it also gives the inside of the building a cleaner, more polished appearance.
At the customer’s request, we supplied (53) 5’x41′ custom-cut insulation blankets with center cores that streamline the installation process. With the insulation in place, the building’s energy bills are substantially lower. The building is also more resistant to condensation, more soundproof and less likely to develop potentially hazardous mold or mildew.
