Steel Building Insulation supplied this roof and wall insulation for installation in a 75’x120’x15’ pre-engineered metal automotive building, the insulation package dramatically improves thermal performance while lowering energy bills for the property owner and making the building more comfortable for use, regardless of outside temperatures. Supplied for installation in the roof of the steel building are 3,250 square feet of 8”, R-25 metal building insulation.
Supplied for installation within the walls of the body shop is another 8,700 square feet of 8”, R-25 metal building insulation. Both the roof and wall insulation has heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing, which protects the insulation against condensation while giving the building’s interior a more polished appearance.
Steel Building Insulation also supplied various accessories for use during installation, including (7) 1”x500’ feet of steel banding, (12) rolls of 1”x100’ InsulHold coils, (1,925) 12 ¾” Tek screws and (2) rolls of patch tape.
