Metal Building Insulation in San Jose, California
Our company provided this metal building insulation in San Jose, California in August of 2011.
In total, we supplied 32,020 square feet of insulation for this retrofit project. We also supplied many of the accessories needed for installing the insulation. Now, the durable, reliable steel building features 6″ of fiberglass insulation covered with facing with a 1″ taped tab in its roof and walls. The insulation facing helps prevent moisture from working its way through the insulation, where it could potentially cause damage. All fiberglass insulation blankets used in the project were custom-cut, and the customer also purchased insulation tape to use during installation.
With the insulation package in place, this retrofitted steel building now offers superior energy efficiency. It is also more noise-resistant and less likely to develop condensation, helping preserve the structural integrity of the building.
