Steel Building Insulation in San Jose, California
Our company supplied steel building insulation in San Jose, California for this new construction project , in June of 2014.
The new construction insulation job for a San Jose Airport maintenance building involved insulating a total of 15,954 square feet of space. The steel building’s roof now boasts a high R-value, double-layer banded insulation system. Installed between the building’s purlins is 9.5″ fiberglass insulation with heavy-duty facing, while 2 4/8″ of un-faced insulation is installed over the purlins. The high-performance insulation system drastically reduces energy costs for the building, and the facing protects the insulation blankets while acting as a vapor retarder at the same time.
In addition to providing the insulation and facing, Steel Building Insulation supplied several accessories that were used for attaching the insulation system.
