Steel Building Insulation in Riverside, Rhode Island

Building Outlet supplied steel building insulation in Riverside, Rhode Island, in August of 2022.

We delivered the insulation and accessories needed to insulate the roof of a 41’x125’ metal building with a 1:12 roof pitch. The materials supplied provided a  6”, R-19 insulation system. The insulation has heavy-duty WMP-VRR Plus facing on its inward-facing side, which serves several important purposes. It gives the inside of the steel building a clean, finished appearance, and it helps protect the insulation against condensation and damage.

The insulation arrived onsite in separate rolls to streamline installation. Steel Building Insulation supplied (60) 36”x42’ rolls and (15) 36”x27’ rolls for placement into the roof as well as (5) 500’ coils of White steel banding to hold the insulation system in place. Other accessories supplied for use during installation included (625) White self-tapping Tek screws, (1) 150’ roll of White patch tape, and (1) 180’ roll of White double-sided tape.
