Steel Building Insulation Supplied in Midale, Saskatchewan, Canada
Our company supplied 19,230 square feet of steel building insulation in Midale, Saskatchewan, Canada.
We supplied the insulation and facing materials for these (2) arch buildings. The new construction project involved insulating (2) metal arch/Quonset hut-style buildings that are particularly popular in the region due to the extreme frigid temperatures and ample snowfall. Because of the shape this type of building is particularly tough to insulate, so the customer designed and created his own custom pin for installing the insulation on this building, as well as his neighbor’s. Materials for buildings were supplied in one order due to the distance and difficulties involved in shipping to this area.
Both buildings feature a single layer of 9.25″ fiberglass insulation, which is the thickest available in a single-layer insulation system. Applied over the insulation blankets and operating as a vapor retarder and protective cover is extremely heavy-duty facing material. In addition to supplying the insulation blankets and facing for this job, Steel Building Insulation also supplied patch tape to help keep the insulation in place during the installation.
