Steel Building Insulation in Madison, Minnesota
Our company supplied 24,677 square feet of steel building insulation in Madison, Minnesota in March of 2015.
We supplied the insulation, facing and accessories for this retrofit insulation project. The retrofit job involved insulating an existing metal building. Installed in the building’s roof is a double-layer insulation system, while the building’s walls have 4″ of fiberglass insulation installed. While the roof and wall insulation substantially reduce energy expenditures by preventing heat loss and helping the building maintain consistent interior temperatures year-round, the insulation system offers an array of additional benefits as well, from enhanced noise control to a reduction in humidity levels.
Applied over the fiberglass blankets as a protective cover and a vapor retarder is high-performance, heavy-duty facing material. The insulation and facing were installed and applied using a number of accessories also supplied by Steel Building Insulation.
