Our company supplied steel building insulation in Longmont, Colorado for this commercial new construction project in June of 2015.
Steel Building Insulation supplied the insulation and accessories for this project. The insulation job for DS & K Resolution involved three different types of insulation. Now installed in the building is 6,144 square feet of 9.5″ R-30 insulation, 3,696 square feet of 6″ R-19 insulation and 6,000 square feet of R-8 insulation, creating a total of 15,840 square feet of insulated space. With the installation installed, the building’s energy expenditures are reduced considerably, and humidity and noise levels are also decreased inside, creating a more comfortable and pleasant environment for building users.
In addition to providing the various types of insulation for this project, Steel Building Insulation also supplied several accessories for use in the installation process. Among the accessories provided are 3″x150′ VRR patch tape and 1″x 500′ of white steel banding.
