Metal Building Insulation in Jacksonville, Florida
Our company supplied metal building insulation in Jacksonville, Florida for this project in December of 2014.
The new-construction job for Mediterranean Construction & Roofing, Inc., a Jacksonville-based roofing services provider, included insulating 25,053 square feet of space. Installed in the roof of the 100’x120’x24′ metal building with a 1:12 gable roof pitch is 12,343 square feet of 9.5″ un-faced insulation, while the building’s walls now boast 3″ single layer un-faced insulation.
The insulation considerably lowers the building’s energy costs, and it offers an array of additional benefits as well, from creating a more sound-proof environment for building users to enhancing interior comfort and reducing humidity levels.
