Our company supplied steel building insulation in Houma, Louisiana, in May of 2021.
The (7,206) square feet insulation system was designed for an existing metal automotive building. The R-19 insulation system creates a more comfortable interior while resulting in considerable energy savings. Adhered to the interior-facing side of the insulation blankets is Black, heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing with a taped tab, which helps protect the insulation blankets against moisture and damage while prolonging their lifespan and effectiveness.
Steel Building Insulation also supplied some of the accessories used in this insulation retrofit job, including (7) 1”x500’ roll of Black steel banding with screws. In total, the newly insulated steel automotive building contains (50) rolls of 60”x26’ insulation, (5) rolls of 30”x26’ insulation, (5) rolls of 24”x26’ insulation, (3) rolls of 10”x26’ insulation and (2) rolls of 13”x26’ insulation.
