Steel Building Insulation in Elizabeth, Colorado
Building Outlet supplied this steel building insulation in Elizabeth, Colorado, in August of 2022.
We supplied all of the insulation and accessories needed to insulate a spacious, 60’x80’x14’ steel building with a 3:12 roof pitch. The insulation system consisted of 8” of R-25 roof insulation and 6” of R-19 wall insulation. The insulation system lowers the building’s energy bills and helps with sound and condensation control, too. Both the roof and wall insulation have heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing on the interior-facing side, which serves as an extra barrier against condensation while improving the interior appearance of the steel building.
The insulation came in a variety of different rolls to simplify installation. Rolls supplied include:
- (4) 40”x30’ rolls
- (4) 30”x30’ rolls
- (8) 50”x40’ rolls
- (8) 50”x30’ rolls
Steel Building Insulation also supplied the accessories used to install the insulation system and hold it firmly in place. SBI sent (4) 500’ coils of White steel banding, (1,200) White self-tapping Tek screws, (1) 150’ roll of patch tape, and (3) 180’ rolls of double-faced tape for this insulation project.
