Steel Building Insulation in Concordia, Kansas
Our company supplied steel building insulation in Concordia, Kansas in May of 2014.
We supplied the insulation materials, facing and accessories for this new construction project for a steel building owned by Gerard Tank & Steel, a Concordia-based company specializing in custom fabrication and erection. Installed in the building’s roof is 26,500 square feet of 6″ single layer fiberglass insulation, while the building’s walls now hold 14,780 square feet of 4″ single layer insulation. All insulation is faced with heavy-duty facing material, which helps protect the insulation blankets against damage while acting as a vapor retarder. With the roof and wall insulation installed, the building’s energy expenditures are reduced considerably. Additionally, the insulation reduces humidity, enhances noise control and improves overall comfort inside for building users.
In addition to proving the insulation and facing for this project, Steel Building Insulation also supplied several accessories for attaching the insulation.
