Steel Building Insulation in Bronson, Michigan
Our company supplied 19,000 square feet of steel building insulation in Bronson, Michigan, in July of 2014.
We provided the insulation, facing and numerous accessories for this retrofit insulation project. The retrofit insulation job involved insulating an existing wood-frame pole building. The customer took measurements of the existing building and provided the information to Steel Building Insulation so the insulation blankets could be cut accordingly. Installed in the building’s roof is 8″ of single layer fiberglass insulation, while the walls contain 3″ rolls of insulation. Together, the insulation system drastically reduces the building’s overall energy costs, and it also helps the building maintain comfortable, consistent interior temperatures while minimizing disruptions due to outside noise.
Applied over the fiberglass insulation and helping protect it from damage is high-performance facing material. In addition to supplying the insulation and facing for this project, Steel Building Insulation provided several accessories for use during the retrofit process.
