Steel Building Insulation in Center Point, Indiana
Our company supplied 13,573 square feet of steel building insulation in Center Point, Indiana in January of 2012.
The insulation was used for a retrofit project on a metal building originally constructed without insulation. The insulation system included 8″ fiberglass roof insulation with a banding system and 4″ fiberglass wall insulation. The banding system is a common element in insulation retrofit projects and helps hold the insulation blankets firmly in place. The insulation blankets also have rugged, heavy-duty facing applied on the interior-facing side, which helps them retain their thermal performance by preventing moisture from coming in contact with the blankets.
The addition of the insulation package makes the building better-suited for year-round use, and it also leads to energy savings while helping prevent the formation of condensation. In addition to supplying the insulation, itself, we also supplied various accessories for use when installing the insulation.
