Steel Building Insulation in Wendell, Idaho
Our company supplied 12,800 square feet of steel building insulation in Wendell, Idaho in February of 2012.
The commercial retrofit project was for a metal municipal building, which holds firetrucks when not in use. The building now has roof and wall insulation, making it far more comfortable and energy efficient. In its roof is a layer of 8″ fiberglass insulation, while the walls hold 6″ insulation rolls.
Applied to the interior-facing side of the insulation is high-permeability insulation facing, which helps protect the fiberglass blankets against damage caused by moisture. The insulation also features pre-taped tabs, which create a continuous vapor retarder and an additional layer of protection against moisture. Steel Building Insulation also provided accessories to use during the retrofit process.
