Roof & Wall Insulation for New Hudson, Michigan Metal Building
Steel Building Insulation delivered the roof and wall insulation and supplies needed to insulate a metal building in New Hudson, Michigan, in late November 2022.
Supplied for use in a clear-span 75’x80’x18’ metal building, the insulation package serves several key purposes. It keeps interior temperatures comfortable and consistent for building users, and it also helps protect the building framing from condensation and damage that could otherwise threaten its structural integrity.
For the metal building’s roof and walls, SBI supplied 8” of R-25 insulation with taped tabs and heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing. For installation into the roof, SBI delivered:
- (6) 36”x25’ rolls
- (15) 42”x25’ rolls
- (9) 44”x25’ rolls
- (148) 60”x25’ rolls
For installation into the walls, SBI delivered:
- (3) 42”x25’ rolls
- (6) 52”x25’ rolls
- (12) 72”x25’ rolls
In addition to the rolls, themselves, SBI also supplied accessories to hold the roof and wall insulation in place. Accessories delivered with the order included (18) 500’ coils of White steel banding, (9) 100’ Insulhold coils, (2,700) White self-tapping Tek screws, (2) 150’ rolls of patch tape and (5) 180’ rolls of double-faced tape.
Located in southeastern Michigan, the small community of New Hudson sits within the borders of Lyon Charter Township, in Oakland County. It sits just east of South Lyon and about a 26-mile drive from Ann Arbor.
