Steel Building Insulation in Redmond, Oregon
Steel Building Insulation delivered the blankets and accessories used to insulate the walls of a metal building in Redmond, Oregon, in mid-October 2022.
This was a retrofit insulation job, meaning SBI supplied the insulation for installation into an existing, uninsulated 50’x50’x16’ metal building with a 1:12 roof pitch. Once installed, the wall insulation boosts the building’s thermal performance, preventing heating or cooled air from escaping, depending on the season.
The 8”, R-25 insulation system arrived in several different insulation rolls. SBI delivered the following for installation into the steel building’s walls.
• (6) 48”x30’ rolls
• (6) 42”x30’ rolls
• (8) 37”x22’ rolls
The insulation blankets also have heavy-duty WMP-VRR+ facing material covering their inward-facing sides, and SBI also sent (1) 500’ coil of White steel banding and (7) 100’ Insul-hold coils to hold the blankets firmly within the walls.
Other accessories delivered for use during installation include ((3) 180’ rolls of White double-faced tape, (1) 150’ roll of White patch tape and (475) White self-tapping Tek screws.
