Prefabricated Steel Building Insulation in Rathdrum, Idaho
Steel Building Insulation provided the insulation for a pre-engineered metal building in Rathdrum, Idaho, in mid-July of 2022.
Supplied for installation into the roof of the 30’x50’x16’ metal building was a 9.5”, R-30 insulation system with heavy-duty WMP-VRR Plus facing and (2) taped tabs. The facing material protects the insulation blankets from moisture and damage, helping control condensation, and it also gives the steel building’s interior a clean, finished look and feel.
Steel Building Insulation delivered (10) 60”x30’ insulation blankets for installation into the roof of the metal building. It also supplied several accessories used to hold the roof insulation in place. Accessories supplied for this project included (1) 150’ roll of patch tape and (1) 180’ roll of double-faced tape.
With the roof insulation installed, the building becomes far more energy-efficient, leading to lower heating and cooling bills throughout its lifetime. The insulation also helps guard against condensation while helping muffle outside noise.
