Steel Building Insulation delivered the insulation and accessories used to insulate the walls of a 42’x64’x18’ pre-engineered steel building. The wall insulation enhances the building’s energy efficiency, leading to lower power bills, and provides a variety of other benefits for the property owner.
The 8”, R-25 wall insulation system includes (11) 36”x18’, (27) 48”x18’, (3) 60”x18’, (1) 60”x30’, and (4) 72”x18’ wide insulation rolls. Steel Building Insulation also supplied heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing, which lines the interior-facing side of the insulation blankets and acts as a barrier against condensation and damage.
Accessories used to hold the insulation system in place include (1) box of foundry nails, (2) 150’ rolls of patch tape and (2) 180’ rolls of double-sided tape.
