Steel Building Insulation Supplied in Fayetteville, North Carolina
Building Outlet supplied steel building insulation in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in February of 2022.
We provided the insulation and accessories used for a retrofit insulation project on an existing 30’x50’x18’ metal building. Used to insulate the gable-style roof, the 8”, R-25 roof insulation arrived at the job site in several different packages. Steel Building Insulation delivered (1) 36”x32’ roll of insulation, (2) 38”x42’ rolls and (8) 60’x32” rolls. The roof insulation has heavy-duty WMP-VRR Plus facing attached to the side that faces inward, which helps protect the insulation against moisture and damage.
Also supplied by Steel Building Insulation were (2) 500’ coils of 20-gauge White steel banding, (250) White self-tapping Tek screws, (1) 150’ roll of patch tape and (1) 180’ roll of double-sided tape, all of which hold the roof insulation in place. With the roof insulation installed, the metal building becomes far more energy efficient and has lower heating and cooling bills. The roof insulation also reduces condensation and improves sound control, among other benefits.
