Steel Building Insulation in Homestead, Florida

Building Outlet supplied steel building insulation in Homestead, Florida in November of 2021.

We supplied the insulation and accessories for this existing metal building retrofit project. In total, Steel Building Insulation delivered 5,530 square feet of 3” insulation for installation into the roof and door of the metal building, with the insulation creating an energy-efficient and comfortable interior environment. On the inward-facing side of the insulation blankets is heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing, which protects the insulation against moisture and damage, prolonging its effectiveness.

Steel Building Insulation also supplied several accessories for use during the installation process, including (4,000) 3.5” stick pins and washers and (8) gallons of adhesive. With the insulation in place, the building owner enjoys lower heating and cooling costs, and the insulation also helps with noise control while protecting the building against condensation.

A suburb of Miami, the city of Homestead is part of Miami-Dade County and the Miami metropolitan area. It lies 26 miles southwest of Miami and about 25 miles northwest of Key Largo.
