Steel Building Insulation in Colfax, California

Building Outlet supplied steel building insulation in Colfax, California in late February of 2022.

We supplied the insulation for installation into (2) new construction steel buildings, (1) 22’x30’x12’ steel building and (1) 60’x80’x16’ metal building. Delivered for installation into the roof and walls of both metal buildings were 4” of R-13 fiberglass insulation. On the interior-facing side, the insulation blankets have heavy-duty White facing, which helps guard against condensation and protect the insulation blankets against damage.

With the insulation package in place, the metal buildings maintain comfortable and consistent temperatures throughout the year. The insulation also leads to improved noise control and lower heating and cooling bills for the property owner, resulting in considerable savings over the buildings’ lifespans.

Located in Northern California, the city of Colfax is part of Placer County. The community sits about 49 miles northeast of Sacramento and about 14 miles southeast of Grass Valley.
