Steel Building Insulation in McPherson, Kansas
Our company supplied steel building insulation in McPherson, Kansas in December of 2014.
We supplied the insulation, facing material and accessories for this (2) building new construction project. The primary structure is a steel gable building, and the second is a single-slope lean-to building. Together, the energy-efficient buildings now boast a total of 27,374 square feet of insulated space. Installed in the roofs of the two buildings is 4″ single layer insulation, and the walls contain 3.5″ of single layer insulation. High-performance, heavy-duty facing is applied over the insulation blankets, which acts as a vapor retarder while protecting them against damage. In addition to helping minimize energy costs associated with the building, the insulation acts as a noise barrier, reduces humidity levels and helps building users stay comfortable inside year-round.
In addition to providing the insulation blankets and facing for this project, Steel Building Insulation also supplied several accessories to help attach the insulation during the installation.
