The retrofit job for Odessa-based Blue Sky Mast, a manufacturer of antenna masts and accessories for marine, military and wireless use, involved creating (211) custom insulation cuts to assure optimum thermal performance and a snug fit throughout the building. Installed in the roof is 6″ single layer insulation, which dramatically reduces energy costs for the building while creating a more comfortable, climate-controlled interior space. Applied over the insulation rolls, acting as a vapor barrier and protective cover, is heavy-duty facing.
