Metal Building Insulation in Montrose, Colorado
Our company supplied metal building insulation in Montrose, Colorado for this project in November of 2014.
We supplied the insulation system and facing material for this new construction project. The exceedingly energy-efficient building is designed to yield tremendous energy savings, and features a high R-value, double layer banding system in its roof. In addition, the 116’4″ x 196’4″x22’6″building has a 6″ R-19 single-layer insulation system installed in its’ walls. The insulation installed is faced with hardwearing, high-performance facing material, which acts as a vapor retarder while protecting the insulation blankets against punctures, tears, moisture and general damage.
In total, 42,274 square feet of space is now insulated as a result of this project. In addition to considerably reducing the building’s energy expenses, the insulation helps with noise and humidity control, and it also helps building users stay comfortable inside regardless of season.
