Metal Building Insulation in Longmont, Colorado
Our company supplied metal building insulation in Longmont, Colorado for this commercial new construction project in June of 2014.
We supplied the insulation, facing and related accessories for this project. The insulation job for an airplane hangar owned by the Horizon Flying Club involved insulating both a large bi-fold door for a metal airplane hangar as well as the walls of the hangar itself. Installed in the large hangar door is 1,800 square feet of 6″ fiberglass insulation, while the walls of the airplane hangar now contain a double-layer insulation system, covering 7,200 square feet of space. Applied over the fiberglass insulation blankets is heavy-duty facing material, which acts as a vapor retarder while protecting the fiberglass blankets from damage.
In addition to supplying the insulation and facing for this job, Steel Building Insulation provided Insul-hold coils to attach the insulation and facing firmly in place.
